A new addition to the GEC fleet
We're lucky to have so many great relationships across the goldfields, and one we're particularly grateful for is the friendship and partnership with Travis Tucker.
Paul Scott and Travis Tucker met years ago and quickly became friends. Since then, the two have worked together across the goldfields on many projects, and the relationship has grown further. A while back, Travis offered to create some artwork for GEC. Travis then created a beautiful painting in collaboration with his sister, Tralina Tucker, and we're stoked to have worked with Travis and are proud to see it on the newest GEC rig. Deepest thanks, Trav and Tralina; the story of the artwork is below...
Artwork - Where Ocean Meets Desert
This artwork tells the story of two worlds coming together, the ocean and the desert. The ocean represents life, movement, and connection. It carries stories across Country, just as people, trade, and knowledge have travelled for generations. The flowing lines show the tides and currents, always moving, always changing. The desert represents strength, resilience, and grounding. It holds deep knowledge, shaped by time, culture, and survival. The patterns reflect the land, the tracks, and the journeys taken across it. Together, they show a balance of water and earth, movement and stillness. This is the space where GEC operates, guided by respect for Country, connection to people, and the strength of both environments.
